White Gables Nursing Home had a failed sewage treatment plant in urgent need of refurbishment. The Nugent Pump Services team carried out a full system upgrade, including:
✔️ New Envirosafe 47H–55H Control P unit
✔️ SCL K04-MS 0.75kW blower
✔️ 4x Charles Austin blower units
✔️ New external control kiosk
✔️ Full system clean and recommissioning

The system was re-energised and is now fully operational, providing reliable sewage treatment once again.

  • Stop float failure affecting pump operation

  • Wastewater spraying from the union on No. 2 Non-Return Valve during testing

✅ Temporary repairs completed — we’ll return soon to fit new pipework and valve assembly.

Our team recently carried out a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on the basement-level dual storm water pumping station at Portman Square.

During the inspection, we identified a failed submersible pump and a heavily deteriorated control panel.

We returned to site to supply and install:
✅ A new submersible pump
✅ A brand new dual, fully automatic control panel

The system is now fully operational and running efficiently as a two-pump storm water pumping station.

Emergency Call-Out: Pumping Station Collapse Resolved Ahead of Major Event

Our team recently responded to an urgent issue at a dual foul pumping station servicing both an equestrian and veterinary centre.

🔍 On arrival, we discovered a collapsed rising main pipework, causing the pumping station to fail just days before the centre’s scheduled open day.

To keep the site operational and avoid costly disruption, we swiftly installed a submersible hire pump with Heliflex hose, redirecting flow to a nearby discharge manhole in the car park.

✅ Once repairs to the rising main were completed, the temporary system was removed and the station fully restored to service — just in time for the weekend’s events.

Thanks to the team’s swift and effective response, the Wildlife Park and its associated facilities were able to remain fully operational, avoiding any disruption to services and preventing potential loss of revenue.

Our accredited work and commitment to high standards resulted in a successful outcome and highly satisfied clients.

💡 By deploying our hire pump solution, the centre avoided the significant expense of tankering during the works.
